CAP is an interdenominational organization that encourages people to share their faith and express it in action, and personal spiritual growth is an important part of the CAP volunteer experience. To foster a spiritual environment, volunteers gather for prayer and reflection after dinner during the week. Also, houses are encouraged to invite a local minister to join them for dinner, and lead prayer to enhance their knowledge of the community and spiritual values in which they live. Prayer is the glue that holds our communities together.
Here are some opportunities for spiritual growth at CAP:
Participate in daily house prayer 4 or 5 nights a week
Personal choice of worship on Sundays
Participate in Volunteer Retreats
Time for personal prayer, reflection and meditation
Diverse prayer styles and beliefs, since CAP is
an interdenominational organization
What Is Spirituality?
